Ghostwriting

Are you ready to tell your story?

A Ghostwriter will do more than simply write your book.

They’ll turn your book idea into a marketable, literary property.

Ghostwriters have been around for a long time. Mark Twain is rumored to have ghosted Ulysses S. Grant’s memoir. John F. Kennedy’s speech writer Ted Sorensen allegedly wrote the book, “Profiles in Courage” (a Pulitzer Prize winner) for him. Most of the books written by celebrities and politicians on the market today are written by ghostwriters.

Let’s be honest, who has time to be building a successful company, running for office, leading large charity organizations, teaching workshops and also write a book that captivates the world?

Most of us don’t have time to balance our day job with our family life, let alone become a brilliant writer in our free time.

In today’s world, celebrities and politicians aren’t the only ones hiring ghostwriters. Families looking to write a legacy book, businessmen and women wanting to promote their company, individuals with an inspiring story to share are all within the scope of a ghostwriter.

Ghostwriters help busy authors bring their books to life. There are many reasons why someone might hire a ghostwriter, but the most common are as follows:

-the author isn’t a writer or doesn’t enjoy writing.

-the author doesn’t have the time to write the book themselves.

-the author needs the book done quicker than they can accomplish on their own.

How does it work?

I follow a proven process to ensure that your book is written with your vision, in your words, and with your flavor infused throughout the entire thing. This is your book after all.

Part of my process involves an extensive back and forth system for each chapter to ensure you are happy with the end result. You aren’t handing over your ideas and receiving a finished product nine months later. You’ll be hearing from me weekly throughout the entirety of the project.

You’ll be responsible for reviewing and approving the work in a timely manner to ensure we finish your book on schedule. I’ll take care of solving any obstacles or problems within the manuscript with your approval.

You’ll be a part of the whole process and end up with a marketable, literary property worthy of attention within the marketplace.

But is it still my book?

The words, ideas, and concepts are all the authors intellectual property. I sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with all of my clients which protects all of the content you share with me, as well as the interviews I conduct during the process.

The content, ideas, words, and flavor of the book are all yours. I simply help you organize your ideas and words into something that’s a delight for others to read.

Is your name going to be on my book?

No, my name will not be on your book. I sign a Non Disclosure Agreement with you stating that I will not discuss your manuscript nor my involvement with anyone. Some of my clients like to mention me as an editor or coach in the Acknowledgements as well as to friends and family. How you mention me or if you mention me at all is entirely up to you.

Do you get royalties if my book gets published?

No. When and if you choose to sign with a traditional publisher—as the sole author, all royalties will be directed to you.
