Ghostwriting Process

A Proven process to write your book

Concept Development

We start by developing your concept, or finding the “gold” in your book, or idea. We also find the best potential markets, write an industry standard pitch and create a timeline for your book including an outline and interview schedule.

Structural Development

You’ll receive Chapter One as soon as it’s written so you can tell me what you like or don’t like, and what you forgot to add. I make your requested changes and send the chapter back for your review, as many times as necessary until you’re happy. That’s how we write the entire book. I may fill in any missing pieces for the cold reader, examples to support your ideas, and whatever else might be needed to make your book a success.

Ghostwriting

Musical line editing is a trade-secret technique. It’s what makes your book shine. Once the individual chapters are written and approved, I go back through and musically line edit everything from grammar and punctuation, to word choice, spelling, sentence structure and flow. Musical line editing brings out the rhythm and music of the words making your book shine.

Final Edit

No matter how carefully we musically line edit your manuscript, there’s always room for a finishing-touch polish. All manuscript services include a final pass by an on-staff copy-edit/proofreader—at no extra charge.

Submission & Strategy Plans

My job doesn’t stop with the Final Edit. I will brainstorm, advise, or guide you through the publishing labyrinth as I develop and ghostwrite your manuscript. Whether you choose to pursue traditional publishing, hybrid publishing, or self-publishing, I can help walk you through it.
